HHCRI To HoldAnnual Light Up A Life Tree Lightings

Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island invites the public to attend their annual tree lighting events in December. The events are held to honor the memory and spirit of loved ones who have passed away. The programs will feature peaceful and joyous music, inpsirational readings and refreshments.
Since 1989 when the Friends of Hospice organized the first Light Up A Life celebration, these memorial tree lighting ceremonies have become expressive events ushering in the holiday season in a most meaningful way. Over the years, thousands of white lights have been lit in memory or in honor of lost loved ones. Each light shines both as a tribute to a life lived and as a statement of support for the hospice philosophy of care.
The tree lightings are an annual tradition of Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island that illuminates themes of remembrance, giving and sharing. The tree lightings symbolize peace and good will and offer an opportunity to honor a special person or to remember a loved one. Call 401-415-4217 for more information.
